I haven't been on beautyjudge in a while due to exams etc so I was so surprised to see the new layout, I thought I was on the wrong page or something, lol. It looks awesome! Now I just have to find stuff lol.

@duchessrach - no, fraid I can't take the credit for the site design! Although I did do the logo - that'll be why it's quite simple then!

One very, very minor request... I tend to use the "latest posts" button to navigate around the forum but it goes missing when you post replies. Or am I just missing it somewhere else?

To be honest the response was a lot less than I thought it would be (not from you guys, but in general from all members considering how many we have!). I think people may have "not got" the idea, or found it a bit confusing. I think the notion of "up to 100% discount" for reviewing just does not compute! People think "Huh?" It's basically the same as writing reviews to get free products really, but people responded to the latter a lot better.

I'm keeping the Ebay account as I'd still like to relaunch this idea at some point, but I think seeing that I've only got X amount of money to spend on BeautyJudge every month, at the mo its better that I spend it on postage sending more free products out to review, which a greater number of people can benefit from. It'll be great if one day this ever becomes more than just a self-funded "hobby" for me...then I won't have to prioritise quite so tightly!

I understand, takes a bit of working out, but the way it was explained was quite clear I thought.
Thing is when Ebay could have driven traffic to your listings and your website (through the interest raised from the listing) it probably doesn't now because of all the stupid changes over the past couple of years, that mean that really Ebay is no longer so much of a bargain place with loads of auctions but like a bundle of shops. I used to sell loads of my makeup (from the business) through auctions, but nowadays they don't go for as much, it's like people don't want to wait until the end of the listing they'd much rather buy it there and then if you see what I mean.

I have a little problem with the new BJ website -- the forum is ok so far, but I have a problem with the "anyone testing at the moment" thread -- somehow it stops at page 5, I can't get the newer posts, whether I use the link from the email update or if I click on the last post icon on the forum... is anyone else having this problem?

I have this problem aswell ptitpupuk so I had to see what people had said from pressing 'reply'

Thanks for letting me know Ptitpupuk (and Bamboozle)...I think I've fixed it. Seemed to be that the new look of the forum was the problem, so I've reverted to the way it used to look and it's working fine. Thank crunchie!
