Clinique  Touch Base for Eyes

I have used this for a few years and would be lost without it. If you don't normally wear an eyeshadow primer you might wonder why you should bother but after using it you will never go back.
This comes in different shades which are quite similar i usually use canvas which is a similar shade to my natural skin colour. I smooth a little of this on all over my eye lids before my eyeshadow and it makes a great base. My eyeshadow goes on a lot smoother and it makes the colours appear much more vibrant. I also find that even if i wear eyeshadow that is not very good quality it makes the shadow last all day without creasing or fading. The little container is so neat and easy to use but make sure you close it properly or it will dry out.

This is a VERY versatile product!

This is a reasonably priced eye primer from clinique at £10. The formula is creamy and sheer at the same time with a shimmery cream pigment. I find that this product makes my shadow stay on all day with no smudging or creasing. Wearing this product as a base will make your shadows "pop" and sparkle.

I apply this using my finger to the whole of my lid and my brow bone. You can wear this product just on your lid for a quick day time look - or use it as a highligher on your brow bone.

Initially I thought it didn't look like you got much product - but you only need a small amount - I am hopeful this product will last a while and I will get my moneys worth.

Another bonus is you get a cute little mirror in the compact which is useful if you take this product on the go!

I own this product in shade 26 (canvas light) - I believe this is the lighter of the two shades available.

My only problem with this product is that it isn't the best primer to use if you want a shimmerless/matte look

Was recommended the Clinque Touch Base for eyes by a friend. So I popped into my local Clinique store to find out more and purchase some. I bought Touch Base for eyes in 26 Canvas Light. This is a shimmery cream for eyes, great as a base for eye makeup and I've even worn it on its own during the day, just a hint of shimmer, perfect with mascara and eyeliner.
