Fairy Dust
Collection 2000 Dazzle Me Eye Dust i have owed for about a year in the shade of white and i must say even though its abit messy to get out of the pot, the effects on the lids- wow collection 2000. It has a hint of glitter in it, nice for clubbing or a party or a strong dramtic effect. I put a base of white uderneth then dash this 'fairy dust' over the top, on my eye lids and a touch on the arch of my brow.
When applying i do make sure a paper is under the pot, it is messy..ive learnt that.
Value for money..i only have the one shade but i would get a couple more. Lasts very well..like i said ive had mine for a year and its in tip top condition.

Soft, Subtle Dazzling Colours
I discovered the Collection 2000 Dazzle Dusts at about the same time as the Barry M ones.
They were on offer, something like 3 for £5.
I wasn't too keen at first. I don't usually buy Coll2000 because a few years back it was a really cheap rubbish brand, like the rubbish stuff you see on £1 market stalls. Dry gloopy varnishes, dry colourless lipsticks, clumpy mascaras etc etc.
But I was looking for stuff to experiment, and I thought those would be better than the more expensive ones for trying things on in the first place.
When I tried them I was well impressed ! So much better quality than I expected ! The powder is very fine. The sifter jar contains loads, probably like twice what a Barry M one contains. OK, the colour range is fairly limited compared to Barry M. And definitely the colours are a lot softer and less striking. But you can do loads with them. The dazzle is definitely there. The colour lasts a reasonable amount of time, as long as you remember to use either a primer or a cream eyeshadow base to stick the dust on.
They are also very versatile. I have used them as eyeshadows obviously, but I have also used them for a themed look and used them as face powder and also stuck them on my lipgloss (the eyeshadows used for the eyes are not Coll2000). Check out the photos in my gallery.
All in all, I think it's good stuff. It's great value for money, the colours are good, especially if you want a bit of colour and a soft look. They're great if you want to try your hand at using dust eyeshadow before using more expensive brands. They're great if you want a bit of dazzle without looking like you're going to a punk party if you see what I mean. But you will be more limited than if you use other brands, because of the smaller range of colours.

Lovely range of colours but I prefer Barry M dazzle dusts
This product comes in a lovely range of fun shimmery colours and are brilliant value. They are cheap and you get a lot of product as well! They are a bit cheaper than the Barry M dazzle dusts. However, they don't last as long on the eye as the Barry M ones, even with a primer/ eyeshadow base.
