I have quite a lot of different clinique foundations because i like to have a variety of different finishes depending on the look i am trying to achieve and also depending on the condition of my skin.
This foundation looks absolutely stunning if you dont have large pores and your skin is normal to dry without the need for a lot of coverage.
Gentle light foundation contains light reflecting particles which really help to soften the look of your skin, similar to when you put a soft focus on a camera. I find it makes lines look less obvious and just evens out the tone of my skin as well. The shades are quite forgiving as well and they seem to blend really easily on my skin leaving a fresh faced almost dewy look to my face.
I like to pair this foundation with a cream blusher and a light reflecting concealer under the eyes for a really youthful look which i find really flattering.
I find the foundation lasts quite well and even longer if i add a powder after application although it's rare i add a powder as i think it takes away some of the glow that this foundation gives.
The price is quite expensive £19.50 i think i paid the last time i repurchased, but it does last a long time and is really worth the money.
If you want a pretty sheer look then this is the foundation for you.
If you have large pores dont bother with this as it will only make them look worse.

So easy to blend it is ideal for someone who is trying foundation for the 1st time. Nice and light so just as good for youngsters as it is for mature skins.
I will continue to buy this foundation time and time again.

I bought this clinique foundation just before my wedding. i had a consultation with the clinique ladies in Debenhams who did a free make up run for me to see if i liked the products. I bought this and loved it instantly, when applied with a proper foundation brush correctly, this feels so good and lasts all day without wearing away.

Although it costs £19.50 it is definately worth buying as i wear make up every day and this pot lasted me almost 12months which i think is fantastic. I bought another pot recently and will continue to wear it as long as they make it. I have been converted.

Also, Clinque do a brilliant concealer stick with blends in with this really well.

I have used Gentle Light in Candle Glow (the palest shade)nearly every day since a Clinique make up artist recommneded it to me for use on my wedding day in 2005. I would recommend this for combination skin that tends towards dryness/dry patches as it has good moisturising properties. Only use if you do not need a lot of coverage because, as the name suggests it is a light foundation. I can vouch for the fact that it does not block pores and is long lasting.

What I particularly like about this product is that it does not have any particular odour and is not thick so its impossible to look 'over made up'. As it is a liquid it is best applied with a brush but it is hard to ge the foundation out onto a brush a sponge without getting too much at once as it is a liquid foundation in a round neck bottle. It is easier to use fingers to apply. It is also tricky to get the last dregs out when at the end of the bottle. As I love this product I have usually bought a new bottle by that point but I suspect I am wasting some foundation!
