Grannies have a way of finding out just these sorts of products - the sort that don't look anything from the outside, but REALLY work and work so well that they become stock items in the home. This is just such a product.

You wouldn't be attracted to it by its packaging or its perfume. Not least as it doesn't smell at all. But once given the chance to show you what it can do, you might never go back; especially if, like me, you have sensitive skin. It is simply first class.

The shower gel goes on easily and seems to clean the skin so gently and effectively that it hardly feels like you've showered at all - it almost feels like you've washed in clean, fresh water. The lack of perfume was refreshing - and unusual - as was the lack of residue left on the skin after using.

Further, it was inexpensive and as such offers great value for money.

I'm a fan of Sanex products for two main reasons - they're great for not irritating sensitive skin and most of the range has a lovely soft fragrance that I adore.

This product comes in a clear gel form in a large flip top bottle. You only need to use a small amount and it foams up nicely. I was slightly disappointed with the fragrance, because it is even more subtle than Sanex's usually very slight fragrance! When you do get a whiff it is pleasant, but it's not the kind of product that's going to scent your body all day.

Likewise, this product has a less obvious moisturising effect than many other moisturising shower gels, for example Dove products. After I've used say a Dove product, I can feel a layer of moisture on my skin when I leave the shower. The effects of this product are much less obvious, but there nonetheless. My skin felt just as moisturised without feeling as if there was a layer of something on my skin, which I found in a way reassuring.

So, this product probably wouldn't appeal to a lot of people because its effects are quite subtle. However, if your skin is extremely sensitive then the lack of colour, fragrance and film left behind can only be a good thing, and this product certainly left my skin feeling less bumpy and itchy. For this reasons, and its bargain price, I'd recommend that anyone with sensitive skin give it a try.

I got this product to review and as a Sanex user I was very excited. I also have sensitive skin. However this product is... bland. I liked the idea of having a soap free shower gel, but this is a very sterile product in the fact that the design of the bottle is boring, the gel itself has little fragrance and is a gloopy transparent liquid.

The good thing about this gel is that it makes your skin very soft, which is the main aim of this product.

But for me the blandness of the design/smell/apperence just doesnt make me want to buy it again.

I have just tested this product for beautyjudge and i am shocked. I posted a question 2 weeks ago about my dry skin, well after only using this product 3 times my skin is much better, the dryness is going already. This product has a slight fragrance which is nice, you don't need to use much as it lathers really well and went on so easily, it has made my skin feel much softer and i have had no itching or irritation since i started to use it which is brilliant. The packaging is nice and for the money it is well woth every penny, si if you have sensitive skin give this a chance you wont regret it
