Review Detail
A Must have for every busy girl's make up bag!
I am love love love Rimmel’s 60 seconds nail polish. I have tried so many nail varnishes on the market over the piece from all different ranges including Chanel, Mac and Lancome and I keep coming back to Rimmel, which is not only dramatically cheaper by far but also a far superior product.
The range of colours available are fabulous and are so varied that there really is something for everyone, also they have a lot of the fashion led colours which at £3.49 you don’t mind paying for whereas I do object to paying for the dearer brands. At the moment I am completely rocking Style Hunter which is a pinky beige colour and very on trend, it looks great on toes and fingers but I prefer it as a nice summery change for my fingers. I also tend to wear pretty dark colours on my toes but have recently been converted for the summer to Fast & Fuchsia, a deep bright pink which looks great with sandals or the Purple Reign which is a deep purple again looks fab for the summer.
The main benefit of the 60 seconds nail polish it that it does what is says on the bottle and pretty much drys in 60 seconds which is great for me as I never have that much time to let nail polish dry and always end up smudging it.
The 60 second nail polish comes in an 8ml glass bottle with plastic top and generous applicator brush, the Rimmel Xpress TM brush for 1 second application, the brush gives good coverage on the nail when applying and makes it easy even for me.
I normally when having a pedicure or manicure take it along to my beautician as i always really like to have the colour just in case i chip my nails and it enable me to extend the life of my pedicure / manicure, all the beauticians thinks that the rimmel nail varnish provides excellent coverage and isin't gloopy or patchy even when you only apply one coats.
I find the nail varnish is hard wearing and claims to be chip resistant which is pretty accurate as i find that it is very strong.
Other colours available in the range include:
Coral Crush
Blue My Mind
Sky High (greeny/blue)
Grey Matter
Funtime Fuchsia
Red Carpet
Ethereal (pale beige/pink)
Euphoria (beige)
Green with Envy
Coralicious
Pulsating (popping purple)
Silver Bullet
Movie Star (plumish)
Shocker (bright pink)
Delicious Dark (dark deep purple)
Black Out
Portobello (pink)
Clear
Rapid Ruby
Pompous (dark purple)
Starlet (pinky/plum)
To name a few, there are 35 on trend colours available in the 60 second range with new colours regularly added. My next ones to try include Ethereal, Rapid Ruby and Movie Star!
You can purchase the 60 second Nail Polish in most Boots, Superdrugs, chemists and major supermarkets and it retails at around £3.49 (Boots current price), but watch out as there is quite often special offers on. This is an absolute bargain and I highly recommend this nail varnish it should be a must for every busy girl’s make up bag!
