BeautyJudge may make changes to the Terms at any time.  The currently applicable Terms will be available on this page.  Please check them periodically for changes.  Your continued access or use of the Website shall be deemed your acceptance of any changes. 

BeautyJudge grants you permission to access and use the Website, subject to the Terms of Use and the following specific conditions:

1. you agree not to distribute, copy, alter or modify  any part or parts of the Website.
2. you agree not to use the Website for any commercial purpose.
3. you agree not to collect any data of any user of the Website.
4. you agree not to use the Website or its Content for any other than its intended purpose. 
5.  you agree not to register as a member using a false identity, or to have more than one membership account.

BeautyJudge reserves the right to make changes to the Website at any time and without notice.  

Your Submitted Content 

“Submitted Content” includes, but is not limited to, reviews, comments, pictures, photographs, messages, profile information and forum contributions made by BeautyJudge users. BeautyJudge does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to Submitted Content.  BeautyJudge is not obligated to, but reserves the right to remove from the Website, edit, moderate or refuse to post any Submitted Content.

You retain all of your ownership rights in your Submitted Content, but by submitting Content to the Website you grant BeautyJudge a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, perpetual and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform that Content in any media.   You agree that you own all rights to the Content you submit to BeautyJudge for publication, and that the Content is lawful for you to possess and transmit. 

You agree not to submit Content which is obscene, abusive or in violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including but not limited to other users of the Website. You are solely responsible for your Submitted Content.  BeautyJudge does not endorse and cannot be held liable for views, recommendations or the factual accuracy of advice expressed in Submitted Content. Nor can BeautyJudge be held liable for any offensive, inaccurate, misleading or incomplete Content you may encounter on the Website.

User obligations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your membership password, and agree to inform BeautyJudge immediately if this confidentiality is breached. You must not submit any content which:

a)  is of a commercial nature, including advertisements, referral links, affiliate links or addresses of Websites in which you have a commercial interest.

b)  is misleading, deliberately inaccurate, offensive, objectionable, obscene, unlawful or in violation of the rights of third parties. 

Email Updates

Registration of membership with BeautyJudge includes subscription to our Email Updates.  These updates may include news, notifications, product or service information etc.   You may unsubscribe from receiving future Email Updates at any time.  You may do this via the instructions or link at the bottom of each email, or by editing the Email Updates section of your BeautyJudge profile area.

If you are aged under 18 please do not subscribe to email updates of any kind. We cannot accept responsibility for emails you may receive if you subscribe to email updates in contravention to these Terms.

Blogroll listings

Members' blogs are listed on our Blogroll at BeautyJudge's sole discretion.  Blogs which we deem to be of a commercial nature, or which do not meet the requirements stated on the blog Listing Submission Form, will be removed.

Cancellation 

BeautyJudge reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership and stop providing access to Services without prior notice to you.  This may be done at BeautyJudge's sole discretion. You may stop using the Services at any time, and you may terminate your membership at any time by informing BeautyJudge via our Contact Form.
 

Copyright 

Contents may be copied solely for personal, non-commercial use and providing that no modifications are made and that the original source of the Content, along with copyright notices, remains clear.The Website is (C) 2009 BeautyJudge All Rights Reserved.  All Website Content, with the exception of third party images or logos, is the proprietary property of BeautyJudge.  You may not reproduce, or distribute in any way Content protected by copyright, or other proprietary right, without obtaining permission of the owner of the copyright or other proprietary right.

Links and advertisements

The BeautyJudge Website contains links to third party websites.  These websites are not under the control of BeautyJudge and their use is subject to different Terms and policies.  BeautyJudge does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, Terms and policies of third party websites.  BeautyJudge cannot be held liable for any loss or damage which may result from the use of third party websites. 

Warranties

The BeautyJudge Website is provided on an “as is” basis and BeautyJudge disclaims warranties of any kind (expressed or implied).   No warranty is made by BeautyJudge as to the fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, correctness, completeness or reliability of the Website.  BeautyJudge does not warrant that the Services provided will be uninterrupted or error-free.  BeautyJudge is not responsible for content, information, products or services provided by third party websites. 

The Price Range given for products is an estimate of the average retail price based on an internet search performed at the time the product was listed.   The Price Range does not account for special promotions, and should be used as a guide only.  Beauty does not warrant or guarantee that products listed will currently retail within the price range.  Please Contact Us with details if you believe a price range to be incorrect.

Product Claims are those made by the product manufacturers at the time of the product being listed.  Claims are quoted directly from the packaging or official websites of the products themselves.  Claims do not constitute the view of BeautyJudge, and are not a recommendation or endorsement.  The purpose of Claims is simply to relay what the product manufacturer claims the product is able to do, so that BeautyJudge users may effectively judge efficacy for themselves.

Limitation of Liability

BeautyJudge shall not be liable to you for any indirect or direct damages or losses (including loss of profit or use) which may be incurred by you as a result of using or being unable to use the Website, or the services of any third party linked to from the Website. 

General Information 

The Terms shall be governed by English law and under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.  If any part of the Terms are ruled invalid by a court of law with jurisdiction, the remaining Terms will continue to be valid and enforceable. 

FREE PRODUCT JURY - TERMS

These Terms apply to all members of the BeautyJudge Free Product Jury. By joining the Jury you are accepting these Terms.

In this document, “The Providing Brand” means a brand (including any representative such as a Public Relations company) which has offered its product/s for review by BeautyJudge members.

BeautyJudge may make changes to the Terms at any time.  The currently applicable Terms will be available on this page.  Please check them periodically for changes.  Your continued acceptance of Free Products shall be deemed your acceptance of any changes to the Terms. BeautyJudge reserves the right to make changes to the Free Product Jury scheme at any time and without notice. 

Eligibility
The Free Product Jury is open to registered BeautyJudge members aged 16 or over who are resident in the UK and who contribute (to the BeautyJudge website) reviews of products they have purchased or used before.  If you are aged under 18 we will require the consent of a parent or guardian via email or letter, before you can become a member of the Free Product Jury.

Obligation
You agree to keep your postal address and email address up to date at all times in your BeautyJudge Profile, so that we are able to contact you and send you products.

You agree to review Free Products using the type of review stated (written, photo or video) and within the timescale required.  Review type required and timescale can be found in the Free Product of the Day details.  If you are unsure what is required please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for clarification before opening the product packaging.

Liability
BeautyJudge is under no obligation to offer you Free Products. In the event of products lost or damaged in transit to you, neither BeautyJudge nor the Providing Brand can be held liable or are obligated to offer any kind of replacement or compensation.  The choice of recipients of Free Products is at the sole discretion of BeautyJudge and the Providing Brand. BeautyJudge is not liable for any illness, adverse reaction, injury or any other damage resulting from your use of Free Products. 

Reproduction
By joining the Free Product Jury you agree to allow your Free Product reviews to be quoted or reproduced (in whole or in part) by BeautyJudge or by the Providing Brand on websites, in emails or in print.

Uncompleted reviews
If you have received a Free Product and are unable for any reason to complete a review for it, you must immediately inform BeautyJudge using our Contact Form.  You must then return the product unopened and unused (by registered post or by standard post with proof of postage) to the address given to you by BeautyJudge.  Neither BeautyJudge nor the Providing Brand will be liable for return postage costs or for items lost in transit. 

If after agreeing to review a Free Product, you fail to either complete the review or return the product, BeautyJudge reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions: a) remove your eligibility to receive further Free Products b) terminate your membership without notice.  

Late and low quality reviews
You must make all reasonable attempts to complete your review within the timescale stated in the Free Product of the Day details, and to complete your review to a reasonable standard.  If we have to chase you to complete a review, or if you submit a review which is very brief and contains little or no useful feedback on the product, you are very unlikely to be chosen again to receive further Free Products.

Editing reviews
You may not remove from the site or edit/shorten significantly, any review which you have previously submitted for a Free Product.  If you wish to close your membership account, you must Let Us Know so that we may move your Free Product reviews to another account.

Termination
If you no longer wish to be considered to receive Free Products to review, please let us know using our Contact Form so that your questionnaire data may be removed from our database.
